Ceremony Of Roses Interior Design and Concept
Never Far Studios partners with 22RE to debut new offices for Ceremony of Roses. The space, inspired by Californian and European modernism, is the new home for the artist merchandising and brand services company.
The space is intentionally designed to foster intimate creative sessions for musicians and their partners to conceive and develop brand-defining expressions.
Never Far Studios recruited 22RE to help transform the vaulted 1950s factory into a modern office oasis, with moody color and lush materials applied to create distinct realms within.
The juxtaposition of hard and soft elements throughout the space are designed to spark conversations for some of the world’s most prominent musical artists and their teams.
A key feature of the space is the free standing oak paneled structure. Within it sits an ambient, purpose designed listening room. Dark and tactile – it's all encompassing monochrome nature creates a transition from the bright and airy offices. Wall-to-wall dark brown carpeting is offset by walnut paneling and shelving, with a custom velvet upholstered sofa atop a solid walnut base inviting artists and guests to sit, listen and reflect.
The bespoke interior architecture and furnishings are accented by a range of vintage lighting and furniture pieces from designers including: Tito Agnoli, Joe Colombo, Achille Castiglioni, Le Corbusier, Mario Bellini, Afra & Tobia Scarpa, Bruno Gecchelin, Philippe Starck, and Isamu Noguchi.
“In crafting this space at Ceremony of Roses, our goal was to create an environment conducive to creativity and collaboration,” notes Denley of Never Far Studios. “The environment as a whole speaks to the intricacies of the creative process, offering dedicated areas for listening, sharing and ideating. Working alongside musicians for over a decade has given me a deeper insight into the artist's purview— we aimed to translate this through spaces like the listening room which provides an analogue sensory experience with soft lighting, enveloping textures, and a deep natural palette.”
