Interior Designer

Role Overview

We are looking to welcome a skilled Interior Designer to join our team on a part-time consulting basis. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for design, an eye for detail and a desire to grow in a dynamic and creative environment. As an Interior Designer, you will collaborate with our team, supporting across all phases to execute projects from concept to completion. This role requires creativity, strong organizational skills and the ability to contribute to a fast-paced, highly creative environment. This is an opportunity to work on diverse, exciting projects while honing your craft under the guidance of experienced designers.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the design team to brainstorm, refine, and present design concepts and presentations for client review.

  • Source inspiration from industry trends, art, architecture, and culture to develop fresh and innovative ideas.

  • Source and specify materials, furnishings, and finishes that align with project specifications and budgets.

  • Assist in the development of furniture layouts, material schemes, and lighting plans.

  • Create and update CAD drawings, floor plans, and 3-D visualizations as needed.

  • Support the team in administrative tasks such as preparing quotes, managing samples, and maintaining project documentation.

  • Research and create moodboards and client-facing presentations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in interior design or architecture.

  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent tools.

  • Strong knowledge of materials, furniture, and finishes.

  • Ability to balance creative vision with technical execution and client needs.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and project needs.
